Epsxe recompile too large4/1/2023 SO maybe the file here on RomUlation isn't right? Either way, I haven't worked this hard at something on my laptop in over half a year(seriously) I'm definetly going to bed.I have been defeated by this game.dammit. (but I cant set up my controller with epsxe :/ ) I tried another game anyway, same result. I tried epsxe to check if the file was corrupted, and it can start it well. What I did find where people saying that certain incomplete/improper dumps of the game can cause issues. ROM image is too large maximum size allowed is 67108864 bytes. This gives rise to the idea of incremental building. In the plug in settings, its not giving me the option to run at 3840x2160. Generally speaking, as long as you don't change how other pieces interact with your piece, the others do not need to be recompiled. If you dont want to change your dpi, it may be possible to right click on espxe.exe and then check ignore large dpi under the compatibility tab. One of my monitors is 1080, while the other is 4k. I have found NOTHING pertaining to the problem with Vagrant Story. First off, when you change one piece, you usually don't have to recompile all of the pieces. UPDATE #2: Ok my eyes are on FIRE from all the reading I've been doing for the past 2 hours. It's pretty obvious that other people than myself have had this problem with this game yet I don't see anywhere in the help files or the website that there are problems with the game. Is it possible that Vagrant Story just can't be run? I don't want to believe that because it isn't documented anywhere that there is a known problem with this game. ago Yessir, I did that right after that post once I realized I couldn't read a damn thing on my screen XD Thank you again :) slumpmouse 7 yr. That's what I did to fix the issue Keish0 8 yr. Googling that error yielded me a post about. UPDATE: I literally tried EVERY single CDROM plugin and they all gave the same result. If you don't want to change your dpi, it may be possible to right click on espxe.exe and then check ignore large dpi under the compatibility tab. Anything else makes ePSXe spit out a recompile block too large error (Ill have to do more research, though). But I'll try changing the CD-ROM plugin.don't see what that will do. I'm using ePSXe for my emulator, and PowerISO to make the ISO's from my PS1 discs. I went to start my game again and got the ePSXe (error) recompile block too large (28673) (28672) and have no idea what to do about that. running ePSXe: ePSXe (error) recompile block too large (28673)(28672). I have been playing FF7 on the ePSXe v.1.7.0 emulator, I played through disk 1 and disk 2 and about 6 or 7 hours on the 3rd disk, all in all over 60 hours of game play. It doesn't seem to matter how I run it, through the CDROM or just by opening the ISO itself it doesn't run.the CDROM option freezes while running the ISO by itself gives that crazy ass error. 3 Wish 4 big news please repost 5 When the playstation classic buys in amazon.
